In a recent interview, Wunmi, the widow of late Nigerian singer Mohbad, detailed a distressing encounter with her husband’s family following his sudden death. She recounted that on the night of Mohbad’s passing, his manager sought to have the nurse responsible for administering a fatal injection arrested.
However, Mohbad’s father intervened, preventing the nurse’s detention. The following day, Wunmi discovered through social media that her husband was being buried without her knowledge. Upon arriving at the burial site, she alleged that family members attempted to take her son, Liam, from her. Fearing for their safety, Wunmi resorted to concealing Liam in a plastic bag to facilitate their escape. She expressed deep concern over the inconclusive autopsy results, attributing them to the hasty burial orchestrated by her father-in-law, and emphasized the importance of obtaining clear answers for her son’s future inquiries.
