Nigerian comedian and actor Woli Arole, has disclosed plans to bail prisoners awaiting trial at Agodi Prison in Ibadan.
Arole made this known after a recent visit to the prison, revealing he was informed that over 1,000 individuals are currently awaiting trial.
Arole expressed his intention to hire lawyers to assist in securing the release of as many prisoners as possible.
“I was broken today when I was told that there are over 1000 awaiting trials at Agodi prison. Thank God, we are going to hire lawyers and see how we can bail as many that we can for free!!”, He stated.
