Nigerian artist Skales recently took to the X platform to assert his independence, stating that Wizkid did not play a role in making him who he is today. Responding to a fan’s comment, “Wizkid made you,” Skales firmly replied, saying he respects Wizkid but credits Banky W for believing in him and giving him a start.
Both Skales and Wizkid began their careers under Banky W’s Empire Mates Entertainment (EME), but Skales emphasized his focus on creating quality music and called on Wizkid’s fans to respect his journey.
