Nollywood actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande has finally opened up about her decision to leave music and pursue acting full-time. Fans may recall that Dakore once dabbled in music, with a notable song titled "Don’t Make Me."
Reflecting on her early career, Dakore explained:
“I actually started out as a musician. Many people don’t know that. Honestly, I didn’t even think I could act. I always envisioned myself on stage, but singing was my passion. Acting came as a surprise to me, but it felt natural. Music, acting, painting—they’re all forms of performance art. I was always drawn to creative expression, but music was my first love before acting took over.”
