West Ham United is reportedly interested in Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo as the January transfer window approaches.

Head coach Julen Lopetegui faces mounting pressure at the London Stadium after a poor start, with the team winning only four of their first 14 Premier League matches and conceding 27 goals. Lopetegui might need a win against Wolverhampton Wanderers to avoid losing his job.

Despite this, the club's management is already planning ways to strengthen their defense in the second half of the season.

According to Footmercato, Adarabioyo has been identified as a potential loan target.

The 27-year-old joined Chelsea from Fulham in the summer but has only played 262 Premier League minutes. Despite limited time on the field, he has made nine starts and two substitute appearances across all competitions, showing his potential amid Chelsea's strong competition for spots.

With Wesley Fofana out for the rest of the year due to a hamstring injury, Adarabioyo is likely to see more game time in the coming weeks. However, West Ham hopes to lure Chelsea into allowing him a temporary move to the East London club, where he could play more regularly.
