Social critic Vincent Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has provided an update on his legal battle with singer Folarin Falana (Falz) and his father, Senior Advocate of Nigeria Femi Falana. The dispute began in 2024 when VDM released an audio recording allegedly featuring cross-dresser Idris Okuneye (Bobrisky), who claimed to have contacted Falz to seek his father’s assistance in securing better prison accommodations. Falz denied these allegations and filed a lawsuit against VDM.

VDM reported that during a recent court appearance, the judge found the Falanas’ filing improper and adjourned the case. He suggested that the Falanas aimed to inconvenience him, assuming he couldn’t afford travel expenses from Abuja to Lagos. However, VDM asserted he has sufficient funds for both travel and legal representation. He emphasized his commitment to combating corruption and expressed disillusionment with human rights activists in Nigeria. Regarding Bobrisky, VDM claimed the cross-dresser was advised to flee, leaving him to face the repercussions of sharing the audio.
