Nigerian activist Martins Vincent Otse, known as Verydarkman (VDM), has called out President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for its reliance on foreign loans, following his remarkable achievement of raising over ₦21 million for his new NGO in just 24 hours.

In a pointed social media post, VDM expressed his disappointment with the government’s financial strategies, highlighting that Tinubu’s administration has accrued $6.45 billion in loans from the World Bank within 16 months.

With a touch of sarcasm, VDM suggested that, given his fundraising success, the government should consider seeking financial assistance from him. He didn’t stop there; he also criticized comedian MC Jollof for promoting football gambling, which he believes negatively impacts the youth.

VDM concluded by announcing his commitment to improving transparency in Nigerian NGOs, aiming to set a new standard for accountability in the sector.
