US rapper and internet personality Rubi Rose is now in Lagos, Nigeria, for her beach event.
The 27-year-old, who is from Kentucky, arrived on Friday afternoon, making her Nigerian fans excited. Some fans welcomed her at the airport and shared photos and videos, which quickly spread on social media.
Rubi Rose will perform at the ‘Save the Summer’ event on October 27 at Athena Beach in Lekki. The show starts at 5 pm and is expected to be a major event this weekend, with Rose set to perform songs like ‘Big Mouth’ and ‘Twork’.
She first got noticed after appearing in the Migos music video for ‘Bad and Boujee’. Rubi Rose began her music career in 2018, and her 2019 song ‘Big Mouth’ brought her more fame. She also appeared in Cardi B’s music video for ‘WAP’ in 2020.
In 2023, she joined Mogul Vision, a label under Interscope Records, and has since released more songs, gaining praise for her work.
