WWE’s Chief of Content, Triple H has given an ‘honest assessment’ of Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock’s performance at WrestleMania 40 on Saturday.
Recall that The Rock put his lucrative Hollywood career on hold to return to his roots at WrestleMania 40 on Saturday.
For the first time in 11 years, The Great One took to the ring for a real match, teaming up with Roman Reigns to mainevent the show against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.
Despite doubts about whether the 51-year-old could still compete, The Rock put on a near-45-minute epic tag match and secured the victory for his family, much to the praise of Triple H.
Speaking after the match, Triple H said when asked if The Rock’s performance impressed him: “It wouldn’t be the physical part.
“I think he loves this and he is going to throw caution to the wind and go all out and it is going to be amazing.
“When you have done this for a long time and you are around it every day you see composure in people that I can spot it in people now, it is my job to some degree. That is awe-inspiring.”
