Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has fired back at critics once again, poking fun at the relentless gossip surrounding his relationship with Judy Austin.
In April 2022, Edochie stunned fans by revealing Austin as his second wife and announcing the birth of their child together. This news sent shockwaves through Nollywood and ignited controversy, as Yul’s first wife, May, reportedly did not support the decision.
Now, Yul, 42, has had enough. On Tuesday, he took to Instagram to address the swirling rumors about him, claiming that some people are spreading lies to stir public sympathy.
“They’ve said everything about me just to pull attention and drive their own agenda,” he wrote in Pidgin English. “Soon they’ll start calling me a 40-second man.”
Yul’s remarks come amid tensions between him and his brother, Linc Edochie, who has publicly expressed disapproval of Yul’s habit of flaunting his second marriage on social media. Linc, son of legendary actor Pete Edochie, warned that the public cheers could quickly turn to jeers if Yul’s relationship with Judy hits rocky waters.
