Kemi Olunloyo has tossed yet another grenade into Nigeria’s social discourse, claiming some of the country’s most celebrated Igbo billionaires are neck-deep in cultism.

Olunloyo took to her TikTok page, calling out alleged occultic practices among influential Igbo tycoons. The investigative journalist alleged that recent gatherings of these billionaires were filled with cryptic exchanges and gestures she associates with secret cults.

Her accusations zeroed in on two prominent figures, Anambra’s high-profile tycoons, Obi Cubana and Zenco. According to Olunloyo, their extravagant funerals for their mothers, which broke the internet with their influence, were not just displays of wealth but arenas where “cult signs” allegedly took center stage.

Olunloyo described the events as platforms where these billionaires  flaunted what she claims are their ties to secret societies. “They were exchanging cryptic gestures, commonly associated with secret cults,” she said, asserting that the public cannot afford to ignore such displays.

In the clip, Olunloyo demanded accountability, urging the accused billionaires to recognize their influence and the consequences of their actions. “They must stop flaunting these alleged occultic affiliations,” she charged, emphasizing the negative ripple effect on their followers, fans, and society at large.

This latest outburst comes against the backdrop of an ongoing online frenzy comparing the duo’s staggering wealth and jaw-dropping events. Obi Cubana and Zenco have remained at the forefront of discussions on affluence and cultural extravagance, particularly after their mother’s funerals became a showcase of grandeur on a global scale.

As social media buzzes with divided opinions, Olunloyo’s claims have only added fuel to an already blazing debate. Whether these allegations hold water or not, one thing is clear: Kemi Olunloyo’s knack for stirring the pot remains unmatched.
