South African rapper Malome Vector killed in car crash

South African rapper Malome Vector has died in a car accident in the Free State. He was traveling with collaborators Puleng Phoofolo and Lizwi Wokuqala when the crash occurred on Wednesday evening.

Two others were injured in the accident and taken to Boitumelo Regional Hospital.

Vector's former record label, Ambitiouz Entertainment, confirmed his death in a statement, expressing condolences to his loved ones and fellow artists.

“With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of a shining beacon; the Lion of Lesotho’s sun has set. Our deepest condolences go out to his loved ones and industry peers during this time of profound loss," report says.

Vector was known as the "Lion of Lesotho" and his death is seen as a significant loss to the music industry.
