Snoop Dogg to carry Olympic torch for Paris 2024 Games

American rapper Snoop Dogg has been selected as a torchbearer for the Paris 2024 Olympics.

He will carry the Olympic flame through the suburb of Saint-Denis, north of Paris, on July 26, ahead of the opening ceremony.

Snoop Dogg, 52, confirmed his role on Instagram and will also work with NBCUniversal as a correspondent, providing regular reports and his unique perspective on the games.

The Paris 2024 Olympics will take place from July 26 to August 11. Snoop Dogg described the Olympics as a celebration of skill, dedication, and greatness, promising to bring his signature style to the coverage.
