In a startling development, American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs has been implicated in the 1996 murder of hip-hop icon Tupac Shakur. A recently unveiled transcript from a 2009 police interview reveals that Duane “Keefe D” Davis, currently awaiting trial for Tupac’s murder, mentioned Diddy 47 times, alleging he offered “millions” for the deaths of Tupac and Death Row Records founder, Suge Knight.
Keefe D described Diddy as the “boss” and detailed his association with three Southside Crips gang members purportedly involved in the assassination. He claimed Diddy’s intense animosity towards Knight and Tupac motivated the alleged contract. Despite these accusations, Diddy has consistently denied any involvement, labeling the claims as “completely ridiculous” and “pure fiction.”
Prosecutors consider Keefe D’s 2009 confession a pivotal piece of evidence, though he now asserts he fabricated his involvement for notoriety. His defense maintains he wasn’t present in Las Vegas during the incident. As legal proceedings advance, the veracity of these allegations remains under scrutiny.
