Nigerian rapper Shallipopi has released his first single of 2025, “Laho,” under his label Plutomania Records Ltd in partnership with RCA/Sony UK.
The track, which gained traction on TikTok prior to its official release on February 21, showcases his signature blend of Amapiano fusion and hip-hop, infused with Benin-influenced slang. This release follows his November 2024 single “Order” featuring Olamide and precedes his upcoming album slated for later in 2025. Notably, Shallipopi has secured six nominations, including a nod for the Next Rated Prize at the 17th Headies Awards.
Currently, “Laho” is officially available on Apple Music, with its availability on other platforms pending.
