Selena Gomez, “The Bear”, and “Shogun” make history with Emmy Nominations

The nominees for the 76th Emmy Awards were announced on Wednesday, and Selena Gomez, the comedy series "The Bear", and the drama series "Shogun" all broke records.

Selena Gomez earned her first-ever acting Emmy nomination for her role as Mabel in "Only Murders In The Building", and became the most Emmy-nominated Latina producer in the Best Comedy Series category.

"The Bear" made history with 23 nominations in the comedy category, surpassing the previous record held by "30 Rock" in 2009.

"Shogun" led the drama category with an impressive 25 nominations.

Additionally, Nigerian-American actress Ayo Edebiri earned a nomination for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.

These nominations mark a significant milestone for the entertainment industry, recognizing the talent and hard work of these individuals and shows. The Emmy Awards will take place on a date yet to be announced.
