Selena Gomez, the acclaimed singer and actress, recently shared a tearful video on Instagram expressing her distress over the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids under the Trump administration. In the video, she stated, “I’m so sorry. All my people are getting attacked. The children, I don’t understand. I wish I could do something. I will try everything, I promise.”

In response, former U.S. Senate candidate Sam Parker called for Gomez’s deportation, suggesting that she should be sent back to Mexico due to her heritage. He remarked, “Deport Selena Gomez. She picked illegals over America because she’s the 3rd gen descendent of Mexican illegals who received citizenship in the ’87 Amnesty.”

Gomez addressed Parker’s comment with a touch of sarcasm, stating, “Oh Mr. Parker, Mr. Parker. Thanks for the laugh and the threat.”

This exchange highlights the ongoing debates surrounding immigration policies and the role of public figures in advocating for social issues.
