Adura Aloba, the younger brother of late singer Mohbad, was arrested by police on Wednesday, alongside two others, after leaving the Lagos State Magistrates Court in Ogba. According to Mohbad's mother, Abosede Aloba, Adura was taken away by unknown gunmen suspected to be police outside the court.
Abosede accused popular Nollywood actor and rights activist, Yomi Fabiyi, of being responsible for Adura's arrest, claiming that Yomi and another person, Sam Jojo, orchestrated the abduction .
She pleaded with Nigerians to help her, stating that Adura is innocent and unwell.
The arrest is connected to a legal case involving a phone Adura sold to Damola Ayinde. Adura had accused Ayinde and Yomi Fabiyi of hacking his TikTok account and damaging his reputation.
It's worth noting that there have been previous disputes between Mohbad's family and Yomi Fabiyi, including accusations of extortion and conspiracy . The situation is still unfolding, and the police have not released an official statement on the arrest.
