Veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie, has voiced her frustration over recurring false death rumors about her colleague, Osita Iheme, popularly known as Pawpaw.
Edochie revealed that she has encountered these baseless claims twice recently, with some fans surprisingly believing the fake news and mourning in the comment sections of social media posts.
In a detailed Instagram post, she expressed her concern about the frequent spread of false death reports involving actors.
Edochie also shared her personal experience, noting that similar rumors were spread about her in the past, using a photo of her on a movie set to fuel the misinformation.
She wrote: “This rumoUr has come up before. A couple of days ago, it came up for the second time, pictures of my great son and veteran colleague, Osita Iheme, popularly known as Pawpaw trended everywhere on social media with captions that they were dead. Crazy netizens believed the fake gist and began commenting RIP on themselves.”
