Nigerian actress, Regina Askia has expressed concerns over a recent court ruling involving activist VeryDarkMan and human rights lawyer Femi Falana and his son Falz.
An Ikeja high court ordered VeryDarkMan to stop circulating defamatory content about Falana and Falz after sharing an audio recording of crossdresser Bobrisky's claims that they contacted her during her six-month sentence for naira abuse.
Askia questioned the severity of the punishment – $305,810.40 – and the lack of action against other parties involved. .She asked if the punishment fits the crime or is it meant to destroy VeryDarkMan. Askia also wondered about the fate of the person who collected 15 million, the one who recorded the video, and the alleged "godfather" involved.
