Juventus has signed French forward Randal Kolo Muani on loan from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). The deal, confirmed by both clubs on Thursday, will see the 26-year-old remain in Turin until June 30.

The move was initially delayed because PSG had already reached the maximum number of players allowed to be loaned out to foreign clubs at the same time. However, the situation changed after PSG’s Spanish defender Juan Bernat ended his contract with the club and made his loan to Villarreal permanent.

Kolo Muani has struggled for game time this season, starting only twice for PSG in the first half of the campaign. Despite playing limited minutes, he has remained a key part of the French national team. He has scored just two goals for PSG this season and has seen only 78 minutes of action since November.

The forward joined PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt last season for a reported fee of €90 million. During his first year in Paris, he scored nine goals in 40 appearances.

Juventus, currently fifth in Serie A, has been dealing with injuries to its forwards and has had to play without a recognized striker in recent matches. Kolo Muani’s arrival is expected to strengthen the team’s attack. Juventus was held to a goalless draw against Club Brugge in the Champions League earlier this week and will face league leaders Napoli on Saturday.

Kolo Muani will join fellow French players Pierre Kalulu and Khephren Thuram at Juventus. Thuram, the son of World Cup winner Lilian Thuram, is a key member of the team.
