Nigerian musicians Portable and Speed Darlington are set to face off in a celebrity boxing match on April 18 at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The clash stems from an online feud between the two artists. It all started when Speed Darlington invited Portable to perform at his show, offering him ₦500,000. However, Portable turned down the offer, mocking Darlington for not having enough money to afford his booking fee.

"You want me to perform at your show, but you don’t have money. I charge ₦20 million per show, ask around," Portable said.

Feeling disrespected, Speed Darlington fired back, accusing Portable of insulting his mother.

“Why did I even reach out to Portable? I regret it. Why did he have to bring my mother into this?” Darlington lamented.

Portable then challenged Darlington to a fight, claiming he would defeat him just as he did to actor Charles Okocha in a previous celebrity boxing match.

Due to public demand, the match was officially organized by Mygamerush, which announced the event on Instagram.

"You asked for it, now it’s here! Two street kings battling for ultimate street supremacy," the organizers wrote.

Fans are now eagerly waiting to see which of the two will emerge victorious in the highly anticipated face-off.
