Victor Osimhen is reportedly set to join Chelsea with a weekly salary of €350,000, moving closer to fulfilling his dream of playing in the Premier League.
Initially, the Napoli striker had demanded €500,000 per week, but with the summer transfer window closing in 48 hours, he settled for a lower amount. This confirms earlier reports from Italy that suggested the transfer talks between Chelsea and Napoli were nearing completion, with Napoli agreeing to Chelsea's offer.
At the same time, Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli has intensified their efforts to sign Osimhen. According to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Al Ahli's management is planning to travel to Italy to push for the transfer. However, Chelsea is determined to sign a new striker, and their options include Osimhen, Jhon Duran, and Ivan Toney, who is also being considered by Manchester United.
Napoli is eager to sell Osimhen and is open to either option as they look to move him on. Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain, who were interested in Osimhen earlier in the summer, have since focused on other targets due to their strong start to the season.
