Victor Osimhen has reportedly agreed to join Turkish side, Galatasaray in what would bring to an end the uncertainty surrounding the future of his footballing career.
Osimhen who has had a frosty relationship with Napoli since a social media incident from last season was on the verge of joining Saudi side Al Ahli and then Chelsea, but both deals collapsed. PSG had also earlier indicated interest in the Super Eagles forward.
As per reports, Osimhen has now agreed to join Galatasaray but is also seeking a review of some of the terms of his contract with Napoli. It is also understood that Galatasaray has already arranged for a jet to bring the player over once he agrees.
Fabrizio Romano explaining Osimhen’s new request wrote, “Victor Osimhen has accepted to join Galatasaray on loan. Understand Osimhen’s now asking for release clause at Napoli to become €75m instead of €130. Also wants a break clause for January in case top clubs approach him over move. Final points being discussed.”
Galatasaray is expected to cover €9/10m as salary of Victor Osimhen until the end of the season. The Loan deal agreed with Napoli does not include any buy option/obligation clause.
