Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, currently playing for Galatasaray, has been accused of attacking a journalist in Turkey.

According to reports by Turkish news outlet Posta, the forward allegedly got into an altercation with a reporter outside an entertainment venue he visited with friends.

The journalist, Tolga Bozduman, claimed that Osimhen became angry when he noticed he was being filmed.

“I was filming Osimhen as he left with three friends. He suddenly got furious, ran towards me, and tried to grab my camera. When I refused to hand it over, he punched me. My body still hurts from the blow,” Bozduman said.

He further alleged that Osimhen swore at him and offered money in exchange for the photos, threatening him when he refused.

Neither Galatasaray nor Osimhen has released an official statement about the incident.

Osimhen has been in outstanding form this season, scoring 15 goals and providing six assists for the Turkish club.
