Mr. Joseph Aloba, father of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has condemned those attempting to profit from his son’s remembrance. Speaking after a court hearing on September 11, 2024, Joseph expressed outrage at individuals commercializing his son’s untimely death.
In a heartfelt video, he revealed the deep pain he still feels when hearing Mohbad's music and criticized those exploiting the one-year anniversary for financial gain. Aloba warned that anyone who tries to capitalize on this tragedy would suffer, extending the curse to their families.
"This is not a time for profit, but for reflection and justice," he declared, adding, "Those who use my son’s death for money will suffer from leprosy. We are still waiting for justice."
