President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has taken a significant step towards reducing the cost of governance in Nigeria.
In a statement signed on Thursday, he restricted ministers, ministers of state, and heads of agencies to a maximum of three vehicles in their official convoys, with no additional vehicles allowed for movement.

Earlier in January 2024, Tinubu had issued a directive aimed at reducing government spending, including cutting down his entourage on foreign trips from 50 to 20 officials and local trips from 50 to 25 officials.
