Former Super Eagles player, Mikel Obi, has congratulated Croatian legend Luka Modric after the midfielder signed a one-year contract extension with Real Madrid.
The 38-year-old was out of contract at the end of June and the UEFA Champions League winners have decided to renew his contract following another good performance at the recently concluded Euro 2024 starting all three of Croatia’s matches.
Following the confirmation of the contract extension, Mikel shared a picture of himself with the Los Blancos star to congratulate him on extending his contract.
"Congratulations Luka Modric on extending your contract with Real Madrid,” read the caption on the picture.
