Manchester United forward Amad Diallo may miss the rest of the season due to ankle ligament damage, according to reports.

The injury reportedly occurred during training, but the club is yet to confirm the full extent as the 22-year-old awaits further medical tests.

Diallo has been one of United’s standout players this season, scoring six goals in his last 14 appearances, including crucial strikes against Manchester City and Liverpool. His absence would be a significant setback for United manager Ruben Amorim.

Amorim recently mentioned that several players are dealing with injuries and illness, adding to the team’s challenges ahead of Sunday’s match against Tottenham. Other affected players include Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte, and Toby Collyer.

United are already without Lisandro Martinez, who suffered a season-ending anterior cruciate ligament injury. Additionally, Luke Shaw, Jonny Evans, Mason Mount, and Altay Bayindir remain sidelined.

In response to the growing injury list, academy players, including 17-year-old Chido Obi, have been promoted to first-team training. Manchester United currently sits 13th in the Premier League table, just two points ahead of Tottenham.
