The late veteran singer Onyeka Onwenu, affectionately known as the Elegant Stallion, will be laid to rest in Lagos today. Onwenu tragically passed away on July 30 after collapsing at Reddington Hospital in Ikeja, following a performance at the birthday celebration of Dr. Stella Okoli, Managing Director of Emzor Pharmaceuticals.
The funeral service, as announced by her family, will be held at the Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju, followed by a private burial at a vault in Ikoyi. According to the funeral program, the Service of Songs is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with the burial taking place between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
