On December 10, 2023, Kechi Okwuchi, a survivor of the infamous Sosoliso plane crash, marked the 19th anniversary of the tragedy that claimed 106 lives, including 60 schoolchildren.
Reflecting on the traumatic event, Kechi shared an emotional message on her Instagram, remembering the “60 angels” who lost their lives that day.
She expressed gratitude for the gift of life and the milestones she has achieved since surviving the crash, including her success as a motivational speaker and as a finalist on America’s Got Talent in 2017.
Kechi’s tribute highlighted her continued journey, which she dedicates to the memory of those she lost.
