Kanye West is speaking out in support of Sean "Diddy" Combs, who is facing serious legal charges.

Ye took to social media on Thursday, urging President Donald Trump to grant Combs a pardon before his trial begins on May 5.

"FREE PUFF," West wrote on X. In another post, he directly addressed Trump, saying, "@realDonaldTrump PLEASE FREE MY BROTHER PUFF."

Diddy, 55, was arrested in New York City on September 16 and is currently in jail, denied bail three times. He faces charges including racketeering, sex trafficking, and transporting individuals for prostitution. If convicted, he could receive a life sentence.

West also criticized celebrities who have stayed silent on the issue, saying, "WE ALL WATCHED TAKE CHRIS BROWN AND AIN'T NOBODY DO NOTHING. I WAS P— THEN TOO. CHRIS BROWN, IT'S TO THE WHEELS FALL OFF."

Trump, who recently pardoned nearly 1,500 individuals connected to the January 6 Capitol riot, has not responded to West’s plea.

Combs, also known as Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, and Puffy, has won three Grammy Awards and achieved multiple No. 1 hits. In addition to his current legal troubles, he is also facing several other sexual assault lawsuits, some involving minors. One case includes rapper Jay-Z as a co-defendant.

The trial is set to begin on May 5, with prosecutors hinting that more charges could be filed against Combs.
