South Korean actor Song Jae-Rim, famous for his role in the K-drama The Moon Embracing The Sun, was found dead at his apartment in Seoul's Seongdong district on November 12. He was 39.
According to the Korean news outlet Soompi, a two-page letter was found at the scene, although details remain unclear. While the cause of death has not been confirmed, rumors circulating on social media suggest suicide. Authorities have stated that there are "no signs of foul play" and that investigations are ongoing.
Song Jae-Rim's funeral will be held on November 14 at a funeral home in Yeouido.
Born on February 18, 1985, Jae-Rim began his career as a model and made his acting debut in 2009. His breakthrough came in 2012 with The Moon Embracing The Sun. Over his career, he starred in movies like Give Me Back My Cat, Grand Prix, The Suspect, On Your Wedding Day, and Tunnel 3D, as well as dramas like Unkind Ladies, Two Weeks, and Queen Woo.
