Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has responded to questions about the identity of her child’s father.
Amusa welcomed her first child in the United States on November 18, but the father's identity has sparked speculation on social media. During a TikTok live session, the actress said she chose to keep this information private to protect her peace and happiness.
“I know people are curious about who the father of my child is, but it’s not something I want to share,” she said. “I’m in the public eye, not my partner. I’ll only reveal what I feel comfortable sharing.”
She expressed joy about becoming a mother, saying, “The baby didn’t fall from heaven; of course, he has a father. But if you’re not comfortable with my decision, that’s fine. I just want to focus on my peace.”
Amusa, who began her acting career in 2002, has starred in numerous Yoruba and English Nollywood films and is also a producer. She has received several awards for her work in the film industry.
