Afrobeats star Fireboy DML has expressed deep admiration for music legend Wande Coal, revealing how the veteran singer has profoundly influenced his career. During an appearance on the "Is This Seat Taken" podcast, Fireboy shared his surreal experience of meeting Wande Coal, someone he has long idolized.
“It was a dream meeting Wande Coal. I become a child when he's around. He’s a legend, and that moment was a blessing,” Fireboy said.
He credited Wande Coal as a major inspiration for his music journey, even dedicating a track titled ‘Wande’s Song’ to him on his latest album, *Adedamola*.
