Former Big Brother Naija star Terseer Waya, popularly known as Kiddwaya, has expressed interest in exploring the music business.
On his X account, he shared his thoughts, hinting that his father’s wealth could help him build a strong foundation in the industry.
In his post, Kiddwaya wrote:
“Maybe I should enter this music business as well. Popsi is rich so we go just hire the best of everyone. Make I kuku see wetin sup.”
The post suggests Kiddwaya might be inspired by the success of Nigerian music globally, as well as his connection with artists like Davido.
Kiddwaya, the son of wealthy businessman Terry Waya, is known for showcasing his affluent lifestyle on social media. However, it remains unclear whether he plans to pursue a career as a musician or venture into the business side of the industry.
If Kiddwaya decides to join the music scene, he will follow in the footsteps of several other reality TV stars who transitioned into music after their time on shows like Big Brother Naija. Notable examples include Laycon, Efe Money, and Chidimma.
Critics, however, may question whether his family’s financial status will play a role in any success he achieves in the industry.
Should Kiddwaya take this step, he will bare the scrutiny and expectations that come with being part of the Nigerian entertainment space.
