Comedian Bayegun Oluwatoyin, popularly known as Woli Arole, and fashion influencer Powede Eniola Awujo have delivered messages to ‘woke’ Nigerians as the Lord’s Chosen Church attracts attention online for its distinctive testimonies.
In his message, Arole urged his generation to acknowledge the spiritual dimension of life, cautioning against mocking supernatural phenomena. He wrote, “To my generation: Many so-called woke individuals mock anything supernatural. I hope you don’t face trouble before you realize that life is spiritual. Your opinions or jokes don’t alter the truth.”
Powede Awujo shared her personal encounter with the Holy Spirit, admitting she nearly questioned God due to the experience’s seemingly illogical nature. She advised, “Don’t be so woke that your spiritual senses are asleep.”
