Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Lojay has released a new single titled “Somebody Like You,” produced by his longtime collaborator Sarz. The track combines laidback chords, infectious percussion, and Lojay’s smooth vocals to explore themes of love, heartbreak, and healing.
This release sets the stage for his upcoming debut LP, Lagosians, expected later in 2025. Lojay describes the song as a narrative of hope, capturing the journey from heartbreak to finding love again. This single follows his recent Grammy nomination for “Sensational,” a collaboration with Chris Brown and Davido, which was shortlisted for Best African Music Performance.
