Turkish champions Galatasaray reportedly do not want to pay more than €50 million to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli in January, as reported by Turkish outlet Sozcu. Osimhen is currently on loan at Galatasaray, but there is no option for the club to make his move permanent.
When Osimhen joined on loan in September, his release clause was set at €75 million. However, Galatasaray may struggle to meet that price.
The report states that club officials could gather €50 million, partly thanks to support from a sponsor. The goal is to secure Osimhen in January to get ahead of other interested clubs.
Osimhen recently reiterated that he would not leave Galatasaray before the end of the season.
Italian sources claim that Osimhen’s clause for the January transfer window is €90m, although Galatasaray can get him for a lower fee.
Meanwhile, The Blues were in talks to sign the star, but failed to complete the deal, so Osimhen joined Galatasaray on loan after the end of the summer transfer window for the top European Leagues and the Saudi Pro League.
