Mrs. Beatrice Ekweremadu, the wife of former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, has returned to Nigeria after being released from prison in the United Kingdom, Vanguard reports.
Mrs. Ekweremadu, along with her husband and Dr. Obinna Obeta, was convicted by a UK court for charges related to organ harvesting. Senator Ekweremadu was sentenced to 10 years in prison, while his wife received a six-year sentence.
