Nigerian gospel artist Dunsin Oyekan has shared a message he says is from God, warning of possible global challenges in 2025. The singer, who recently celebrated his 40th birthday, revealed that God instructed him to release his new song, Judah, as the first music of the year to counter the enemy's plans.
In a post on social media, Oyekan explained that the song is a call for Christians to focus on prayer and praise to prevent hardships reminiscent of 2020.
He wrote: “The Lord said to me in November last year, release JUDAH as the first sound of the year, I asked why, He said because of what the enemy is planning for the world. Let’s pray we don’t have a repeat of 2020.. We can avert the hand of the enemy with our prayers and praise.”
The message sparked reactions from fans and fellow believers, many of whom shared similar revelations or expressed agreement.
One user, @MoDiehi Chenje, commented: “You just confirmed what the Lord told me. Judah must go first.”
Another, @Debbie Peculiar, wrote: “Exactly. Same prophecy was shared by our priest. Our prayers and praises will avert whatever the enemy has planned against us. Amen.”
Others pointed out that while some events may be unavoidable, prayer and praise can provide strength during tough times.
Oyekan's message has resonated widely, drawing attention to his call for spiritual vigilance in 2025.
