Rapper Drake is suing Universal Music Group (UMG) for the second time. This time, he's upset about a song by Kendrick Lamar called "Not Like Us." Drake says the song is defamatory and hurts his reputation.

According to court papers, Drake says the song falsely accuses him of being a sex offender and doing other bad things. He's also mad at UMG for allegedly helping to make the song popular through unfair means.

This is the second time Drake has taken UMG to court. The first time, he said the company and Spotify worked together to make "Not Like Us" a hit by using fake streams and secret payments.

UMG says Drake's claims are "contrived and absurd." A spokesperson said, "The suggestion that UMG would do anything to undermine any of its artists is offensive and untrue. We employ the highest ethical practices in our marketing and promotional campaigns. No amount of contrived and absurd legal arguments in this pre-action submission can mask the fact that fans choose the music they want to hear."

"Not Like Us" is a big hit, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Kendrick Lamar's album, GNX, is also doing well, with many Grammy nominations.

It's worth noting that neither Drake nor Kendrick Lamar is signed directly to UMG. However, their music is distributed by the company, which is why they're involved in this lawsuit.
