Music veteran D’banj is building anticipation for his upcoming album, “The Entertainer D’Sequel,” to be released on Friday, August 16th.
He recently dropped a trailer for the album, showcasing a star-studded cast that includes Mavin Records’ Don Jazzy, Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke, media personality Folajimi Akinsola, and D’banj himself.
Earlier this year, D’banj marked 20 years in the music industry with the release of his single “04” in May. In June, he followed up with “Koko,” a modern rendition of his 2005 hit “Tongolo” from his debut album “No Long Thing,” and “Worthy,” a collaboration featuring Senegalese music icon Youssou N’Dour and Nigerian-American “The Voice” contestant Chechi Sarai. These tracks will all be part of his new album.
