Singer Davido has expressed his admiration for his father, Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, as he embarks on an ambitious project to build a new power plant in Nigeria.
At the Seventh Day Adventist General Conference Annual Council, Dr. Adeleke revealed that he currently contributes around 15% of Nigeria’s electricity needs and announced plans for the largest power plant in the country, set to be completed by January. He emphasized collaboration with various Chinese engineering firms to ensure the project’s success.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Davido praised his father, calling him “my hero” and sharing his pride in Dr. Adeleke’s commitment to improving Nigeria’s energy infrastructure.
