Popular social media critic Daniel Regha has slammed Nigerian singer Wizkid for allegedly attempting to stay relevant by taking shots at his fellow artist, Davido.
Wizkid recently sparked controversy after he took to X (formerly Twitter) to throw jabs at Davido, calling him talentless and using the nickname "Frogido." This verbal attack triggered mixed reactions from fans, with many criticizing Wizkid for his comments.
Regha joined the conversation, accusing Wizkid of relying on controversies with Davido to stay in the spotlight. He further remarked that true greatness doesn’t require boasting or belittling others to gain attention. Regha wrote, "The fact that you can’t promote your music or stay in the limelight without intentionally disrespecting your colleagues shows you need others to remain in the spotlight." He added that those who are truly accomplished don’t need to constantly remind the public of their success.
