Nigerian singer Dammy Krane has publicly apologized to fellow artiste Davido, following a recent arrest that allegedly stemmed from a defamation case initiated by the Grammy-nominated star.
The incident came to light when social media influencer Verydarkman (VDM) shared details of his encounter with Krane at a police station. According to VDM, he was surprised to find the singer in custody and asked him what had happened. Krane reportedly disclosed that Davido was behind his arrest due to ongoing tensions between them.
VDM recalled advising Krane, pointing out that the singer had persistently attacked Davido and his family without evidence. "You started by accusing him of owing you money, and even mocked him by calling him 'OB owe,' but you never provided any proof," VDM said.
On Sunday, September 9, 2024, Krane took to social media to issue a heartfelt apology to Davido. Although he didn't specify the exact nature of his actions, Krane expressed deep remorse, stating that he was on his knees begging for forgiveness.
"PLEASE @davido I’M BEGGING. I’M ON MY KNEES," he wrote on X.
Meanwhile, Krane's beef with Davido has been on for ages, with Krane making several allegations against Davido, including alleged complicity in the death of Tagbo and debt owed to him.
