Nigerian actress Cossy Ojaikor has introduced a paid chat service where fans can connect with her for a fee of N100,000.
The 40-year-old entertainer announced this on Instagram on Monday, sharing a video of herself dancing in revealing clothing. In the post, she wrote, “Hey, chat fee is N100k only,” sparking speculation about the type of content or interaction fans can expect.
Known for her bold personality and controversial presence, Cossy has been a prominent figure in the Nigerian entertainment industry for over 20 years. She first gained fame as a singer and video vixen in the early 2000s, with appearances in music videos like Obesere’s, which helped establish her in the industry.
Her career has also been marked by scandals. In 2002, she faced criticism after a video appeared to show her involved in explicit acts with a dog. She denied the claims, explaining it was a scene from the movie Itohan, which highlighted the struggles of Nigerian sex trafficking victims. Cossy has since called for an investigation into those who spread the rumor.
Despite the controversies, she has continued to build her career. In 2013, she released her album Nutty Queen, and in 2015, she produced her first film, Power Girls.
Cossy’s personal life has also drawn attention. In 2020, she announced her engagement to Abel Jürgen Wilhem, a Nigerian-German man, but the relationship ended months later after Abel accused her of domestic violence.
With her latest venture, Cossy maintains her reputation for staying in the spotlight, using her bold personality to engage with fans and spark conversations.
