Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Caroline Hutchins Danjuma has addressed critics of her behavior on the ‘Real Housewives of Lagos’ reality show, asserting her commitment to authenticity and dismissing negative opinions.

In a recent Instagram post, Danjuma responded to fans who expressed disappointment over her demeanor in the show’s second season, contrasting it with her earlier portrayal. She wrote:

“To those of you that want to unfan me because I ain’t what I was in season 1. Have gotten the matches to burn the bridge. See you at dawn sugar.”

Emphasizing the nature of reality television, she continued:

“This is a reality TV show, NOT a beauty pageant or a convent/seminary. Here, we bring in the past, present, and future the way it is. I KEEP IT REAL. Energy for energy, vibes for vibes, demon for demon, Angel for Angel. You can choke on your negative feelings.”

Danjuma further clarified her stance on relationships with fans and critics alike:

“I don’t sell ice cream; you love me, I love you, you hate me, you simply don’t exist to me. I won’t play the victim card here I’ve been too nice for too long to the wrong people.”

Concluding her message, she stated:

“We don’t fake it here for the camera or for likes. Toodles.”

This assertive response underscores Danjuma’s dedication to presenting her genuine self, regardless of public perception, and highlights her resilience in the face of criticism.
