Controversial influencer Bobrisky Okuneye has allegedly been arrested at the Seme Border while attempting to escape to Benin Republic. The claim was made by critic Verydarkman, who stated that Nigerian immigration officers apprehended Bobrisky amidst an ongoing investigation by the House of Representatives.
In an Instagram post, Verydarkman wrote, “Bobrisky has been arrested this morning at the Seme border while trying to enter BENIN REPUBLIC to escape the current investigation by the House of Reps. He is allegedly being held by Nigerian immigration… MAKE WE WAIT FOR BOB TO DEBUNK.”
This incident follows Bobrisky’s failure to appear before the House of Representatives after being invited to discuss leaked audio recordings in which he allegedly admitted to bribing officials to secure his release from prison and drop money laundering charges with the EFCC.
