Veteran actress Dalyce Curry, renowned for her roles in “The Blues Brothers,” “The Ten Commandments,” and “Lady Sings the Blues,” has tragically passed away at the age of 95 due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles.
Curry’s remains were discovered at her residence in Altadena, California, which was destroyed by the Eaton Fire. Her great-granddaughter, Dalyce Kelley, last saw her on January 7th and was unable to reach her the following day due to police barriers. The family later searched shelters but couldn’t locate her. Authorities confirmed Curry’s passing days later.
The Los Angeles wildfires have resulted in at least 24 fatalities, marking one of the most destructive firestorms in the city’s history.
